Hamilton – David, 8th September 2026, peacefully, his loving wife and daughter by his side, late of Lemons Road, Portavogie. Devoted husband of Valarie, deeply loved dad of Martine and the late Mark. A Celebration for David’s life will be held at 2.00 pm on Thursday 17th September 2026 in Roselawn Crematorium. No flowers please by request. David will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered.

Carter – Bill, 7th September 2026, peacefully, at hospital, his caring family by his side, late of Well Road, Ballywalter. Deeply and dearly loved brother of Jean and the late Evelyn, cherished uncle of Peter, Karen, Lee and Clare, great uncle of Ali, Ryan, Alfie and Lexi, great-great uncle of Archie and Freddie. A Celebration for Bill’s life will be held at 11.00 am on Tuesday 15th September 2026 in Adair Funeral Home, 78 Main Street, Ballywalter, BT22 2PJ, followed by committal in Whitechurch Cemetery at 12 noon. No flowers please by request. Bill will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and remembered by his friends and neighbours for his calm and pleasant nature.

McCutcheon – Kathryn June (née Molloy), 3rd September 2026, peacefully, at hospital, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, late of Castle Street, Bangor. Devoted wife of the late Will, deeply loved mum of Wendy, John and Alan, treasured sister of Diane and the late Jack, mother-in-law of Alan, Susan and Sarah, cherished granny of her 5 grandsons, doting great-granny of her great-granddaughter and loyal friend to many. A Service of Thanksgiving for June’s life will be held at 12.30 pm on Thursday 10th September 2026 in 1st Presbyterian Church (City Church), Bangor, followed by a private family committal. Palmer – Margaret, Called Home 1st September 2026, peacefully, at hospital, her loving family by her side, late of Shore Road, Ballyhalbert. Devoted wife of the late Samuel, cherished mother of Derek, John and David, highly respected mother-in-law of Claire and Liz, adored grandmother of Craig, Robyn, Natasha, Aimee and their families, great-grandmother of Felix and Caleb. Burial will take place in Ballyhalbert Family Burial Ground on Friday 4th September 2026 at 1.00 pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for Margaret’s life at 2.00 pm in Ballyhalbert Gospel Hall. No flowers please by request.  Callers are welcome anytime at Derek and Claire’s home, Harbour Road, Ballyhalbert and John and Liz’s home, Magheralave Court, Lisburn on Thursday between 4.00 pm and 8.00 pm. Devoted wife of the late Willie James, cherished mother of Hubert and the late Robert, highly respected mother-in-law of Marjorie and Iris, adored grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. A Service of Thanksgiving for Evelyn’s life will be held at 11.00 am on Thursday 27th August 2026 in Adair Funeral Home, 78 Main Street, Ballywalter, BT22 2PJ followed by committal in Roselawn Cemetery (Section R) at 1.00 pm. Cherished dad of Goodwyn, Johnathan, Aaron and Emma-Jean, highly respected father-in-law of Kirsten, granda of Casey, Paige, Scarlett, Harry, Elliot, Zach and Calvin, dearly loved brother of Wendy, Albert, Faith, Jennifer and the late Sam and Davy-Hugh, son of the late Albert and Eileen Palmer and a loyal friend to many. A Service of Thanksgiving for Goodwyn’s life will be held at 10.30 am on Saturday 8th August 2026 in Portavogie Presbyterian Church, followed by committal in Kirkistown Cemetery at 12 noon. Deeply loved husband of Anna, devoted and loving daddy of Lynne and Sandra, highly respected father-in-law of Raymond and Jim, adored granda of William, Dean, Leanna and Jemma, doting great-granda of Lily-Anna, Lucas, Freddie, Myla, Laynie and Emelia, cherished brother of Sandra and Samuel, dearly loved uncle and a loyal friend to many.
